Against a background of stable horizontal lines shaded purple-fuchsia at the top to deep teal at the bottom, nine simple gray teacups form a u-shape—a cup!—along the sides and bottom of the card. A white balsamic (waning crescent) moon hangs above. This is often referred to as the wishes-come-true card.

I love this card for the colors, the simplicity, that white crescent moon. I love how the abundance of cups forms a larger cup. This is a card about emotional fulfillment, abundance, plenty, being in your power, harvesting the fruits of your emotional work.

Tonight at 10pm is a Pink Supermoon in Libra. My moon teacher, Sarah Faith Gottesdiener, calls the full moon “everything all at once.” There’s lots of energy, and tension—and opportunity. I’ll be doing a full moon ritual with Mary tonight. We’ve planned it together and made it personal. For my part, this full moon is about reflecting on my desires: What do I want? How do I want my life to feel? How do I want to show up for myself? For my community? For this time of our collective undoing? It’s a chance to imagine and envision, to welcome longings and inspirations without judgment or censoring. This time is calling me to deeply tap into my imagination.

For most of my life, I operated on the goals and fuel of the overculture—ambition, accomplishment, productivity, being a “good girl” (although that never really worked . Even as a monastic, I struggled with ambition and competitiveness and “getting it.” At this time in my life, I am looking at a different operating system, a re-programming that takes into account all of who I am, and all of what I yearn for in this beautiful, terrible world. And for me, all of this must be rooted in the collective, mindful of the future. I must learn to be a good ancestor.

What are you yearning for on this Pink Moon?
